I am available to speak to writer’s groups, schools and civic organizations as time allows. I have spoken many times during the past twenty years about tips and techniques for aspiring writers, and about my experiences in publishing to civic organizations and school groups. I also present a well-received “old-time revival-type” speech entitled “WRITING IN THE RAIN: How to Tap Into Your Creativity When Life Has Tapped You Dry.”

For correspondence and for speaking engagement requests, I can be reached at:

  1. I have loved your books since I started reading “Family Found” and always pick up your books as soon as I see your name. Family found is still my favorite series, maybe because I knew a family that was separated and found each other as your book family did. Family genealogy is a hobby of mine.
I also enjoy them because they are set in areas of Texas and Arkansas that I am familiar with personally. I loved it when you started writing about the children.
    Keep up the good writing.

  2. Hi!

I have read a “Lot” of your books.

I work in a medical library (20 years)but, not a librarian and I will look
    forward to your new series.

Thanks for all your good books and keep them coming.

  3. Hi Gina

Glad to find your blog site. I have enjoyed reading it the last few weeks. Keep up the good work.

And just a side comment. I have heard you speak many times and you are excellent, both with adults and with kids.

  4. To Whom It May Concern,
I love all of your books. They are so beatuiful to read. Do you have an e-newsletters That you send out monthly or every other month. To let people know about when your books are coming in the book store.
I love Diagnosis Daddy story. I love books that have a family theme or setting in them.

  5. Christine – thanks for stopping by! I don’t have a newsletter (I’m doing well to keep up with this blog), but if you’ll check back here, my Books Available Now! page has a list of upcoming titles. I’m glad you enjoyed Diagnosis: Daddy. Many of my books have a family theme, since that is such an important part of my own life. Please visit again.

  6. I just asked for your list of books, checking for the family found series. It looks like there are several titles I have not read. The Stranger in the Room, Adding to the Family, The Borrowed Ring and The Road to Reunion. Am I correct that these books are in the series? If so, I would like to order them if you will forward the informaton on how to do so. Thanks, and I love your books both old and new. I have read the Family Found series over and over and still find the stories inspiring.

  7. Sue, you will love The Road to Reunion … its the story of little Molly, sister of Shane from A Very Special Kiss!

i have yet to complete my Family Found Series, sifting from second hand book stores, hoping fervently for some Gina Wilkins’ books.

thanks again, Gina, for the wonderful stories! :-)

  10. hi there…

Love your books….I am hoping that you can help me…. I am reading The texans tennessee Romance and in the book Casey Walker mentions his family… i remember reading a book years ago and o think that it is related….. Have you written a series …walker series or what?? Help me please
    thank you
    mandy smith

  11. Mandy – hi, thanks for stopping by. I introduced the Walker family in my Family Found series. Casey is the son of one of those original characters. The lists of series can be found on my Backlist page.

  12. Stumbling across your blog reminded me that I’d gotten behind on reading your books. I go through phases in my reading — sometimes I only read mysteries, or science fiction, or certain authors. Lately, it’s been mostly fantasy. I’ve been “away” from romance for a while, and felt a craving to indulge again. So I went to Amazon, and discovered a whole bunch of your recent titles formatted for my latest toy, the Kindle. Instant gratification! (It’s a very dangerous toy.)

I hope your new titles will continue to be available for the Kindle. It would also be nice to see some of your older titles re-issued in that format, like the “Family Found” books. I still buy paper books, but for a voracious reader (and re-reader) like me, it’s great to be able to carry a whole library of books in my purse. I’ve always got something to read, whatever I’m in the mood for.

Now I have to decide… should I read one of the NASCAR books or the doctor books?

  13. hello gina,
your books have the ability to draw me out of the worst of my moods. i love your old writings – “designs on love”, “hotline” among many more. i stopped reading them for a long time and now i have recently started again. i would like to own more books of your but they are not available in india now. can you help me?

  14. Gina Wilkins,
I just ran across your article about the influence of one particular teacher, Bob Koorstad, on your family. Bob Koorstad, “Coach Koorstad” to me, was my baseball coach in 1978 and ’79. It was only two years, but his influence has lasted throughout my life. I became a teacher and coach due to this influence, and often think of him. To this day, if I am fortunate enough to achieve some small progress or accomplishment in coaching, I will at some point reflect on his influence and impact upon what I do. I greatly enjoyed your article, and am proud to have known “Coach”, and pleased to see his impact upon others being celebrated. Thanks for your time.

  15. I’m not sure if this is the correct place, but I just wanted you to know how “educational” your books can be. I am just finishing Doctor’s Undoingm and when I read Ron’s “Go Red Wolves” as they passed Jonesboro, I thought you had lost your mind. Why mention the town and then give the wrong mascot? Imagine my surprise when I checked it out and found out the ASU Indians were no more. I left northeast Arkansas in 1989, did not attend ASU, and am not a sports fan. As I said “educational”!

  16. Funny, Sandra! I actually attended ASU, so it’s still hard for me to remember they aren’t the Indians now.

  17. Attn Gina Wilkins
I have just read your book,”It could happen to you”. I enjoyed it very much. At the end of your book it says “Read Tom’s story coming out early 1998. I don’t know the author or title of the book. I would appreciate it if you can give me that information. Thank you very much. Phyllis

  18. I’m the author of Tom’s story, VALENTINE BABY. I’m glad you enjoyed the first book! If you’d like to order Tom’s story from me, write me at my email address on the Contact Me tab. Thank you!

  19. Are there other books about the families in Once A Family. A friend gave me the book and I enjoyed it very much.
    Thank You,
    Sandy

  20. Hi Gina. Checked your blog for the first time in quite a while. Sorry to hear about your daughter’s stroke, but glad to hear she is showing good recovery. It can take a while, but today’s patients can make so much progress, and the possiblity of a full recovery is within the realm of reasonable expectations. Will keep you and your family in my prayers, and wish you all the best.

  21. I read your book called “Once A Family” about an adopted lady who went looking for the 6 brothers and sisters that she was separated from, can you tell me if you wrote books that continue to locate the family of children they were still looking for: twins were Robert and Joey, and baby sister (I think her name was Lindy). Please e-mail me as I would love to complete the family follow up if there are any. Thank you – I do enjoy reading your books.

  22. I was roaming the bookstore when “The M.D. Next Door” caught my eye. On impluse I brought it, I am so glad I did. While there is romance in the story (which is why I brought it in the first place) there wasn’t the steamy almost porn sex that has crept into some of the authors love-making chapters. I just wanted to let you know, I appreciate that. I am looking forward to reading Madison’s and Mitchell’s story. Thanks for a great read.

  23. I’m in the middle of ‘The M.D. Next Door’ & I’m REALLY enjoying it! Doesn’t JUST focus on interaction between the girl & guy, but goes into their lives separately. I like that!
Anyhow…just wanted to let you know. Thanks, Gina!

  24. hi i read your book enticing emily and really enjoyed it.at the bottom of the epilogue .you wrote that lucas mcbride emily’s long lost brother was coming home for christmas.please could you tell me the title of the book please so i could try and get it. many thanks. gina

  25. Lucas’s story was THE REBEL’S RETURN, a 1998 Harlequin Temptation. Thanks for stopping by!

  26. Hello Gina. I just finished reading your book Once a Family. It was an excellent read. I am just wondering if this book is part of a seris, as it kind of leaves you hanging and there seems like there should be another book that follows. Thanks for getting back to me.

  27. Hi. If you’ll look at my back list titles, you’ll see the series marked with symbols. Once a Family was an anthology of the first two Family Found books, so all the stories in that series are marked. Thanks for stopping by!

  28. Hi Gina, I am new to your books, but now that I’m reading them I carnt put them down. I recently picked up from a second hand book stall ‘A Valentine Wish ‘ 1986 it was released. I loved it, and want to know if I can still get the sequel ‘A Wish to Love’. Could you give me any information on where to obtain this paperback.

    Regards Irene

  29. A WISH FOR LOVE is available as an ebook download from several sources, including Amazon.com (for Kindle) and BarnesandNoble.com (for Nook).

Thank you for taking time to drop by!

  30. Thank you for asking! I don’t have a newsletter (I do well to keep up a blog!) but I have a facebook page — “like” Gina Wilkins on facebook and there are occasional book updates there.

  31. Thank you SO much for bring back the D’Allesandro-Walker characters with Jason apprearing in Doctors in the Wedding. I always loved the characters from Family Found and am pleased to see them reappear. It seems like more may show up in the future, too. GREAT – keep them coming!

  32. Thank you SOOO much for bringing back characters from the D’Allesandro-Walker clan. I really like the characters from Family Found series. Jason was wonderful and I hope your hints indicate that more will be showing up in the future : – )
